Okay so this week is the release of The Fashion Week Internationale episodes that went live today. In 3 parts Charlet Duboc visited Colombia, a country whose famous aesthetic sees girls as young as 15 wishing for breast and bum implants and Fashion Week has become two separate events - one which echoes the presentations seen all over Europe with tall, slim, 'clothes hanger' models, to the other which celebrates extreme curves and embraces a look more synonymous with narco trafficking. In part one, Charlet sets off to see a bit of both Fashion Weeks and what they think is true Colombian beauty first hand. You can watch part one here: http://www.vice.com/en_u/k/fashion-week-internationale/colombia-part-1 and then just click below for part 2 and 3. I've just finished watching all three parts and I'm so shocked, I've never seen a show like it, here in Britain it's all about the tall slender models on the catwalks showcasing up and coming designers collections, yet it's worlds apart in Colombia. I highly recommend it for all your fashionistas.
